About me
Hello! My name is Danny, and I’m a UX & Product Designer based in Chicago.
I’m an energetic, curious person obsessed with great coffee ☕️, my wife 👧🏻, my dog Rosie 🐶, and getting out into the world to learn how people think, work, and live. That curiosity shows up in everything I design.
Before moving fully into product design, I spent over 15 years touring as a professional drummer while simultaneously running my own business as a product, graphic, web, and furniture designer. The deeper I explored design thinking and user experience, the more committed I became to crafting thoughtful, well-considered experiences that create real, lasting impact.
Today, my background in strategy, innovation, and business allows me to take on complex problems, balance user needs with real-world constraints, and push ideas from early exploration through execution.

I was a professional touring drummer for over 15 years, playing on Broadway and touring with artists including Kane Brown, Thompson Square, Lindsey Ell, Ricky Skaggs, Brandy Clark, and more!

I have been to all 7 continents, checking Antarctica off the list in January 2022.

I co-hosted and helped produce a 4-hour block of DIY programming on A&E for 3 years!

I am one of 7 kids and was delivered by my dad at our farmhouse in rural Wisconsin.

I once had to fly 36 hours to Okinawa, Japan to play a single show with Thompson Square, was there for 8 hours, then got back on the plane to fly 36 hours back to Nashville.
